New Sadle
New Sadle is a visionary organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal whose mission is to improve the socio-economic status of those people considered "socially discarded". New Sadle provides skill training, employment opportunities and social services to those marginalized by society, including the "untouchables" and those afflicted with polio, leprosy and other illnesses.
New Sadle operates rehabilitation and training centers in Kathmandu, Kalaiya, Kapan, and Pokhara. 80% of the 650 people served are women. An integral component of these centers are day care operations which enable parents to work and receive any necessary medical treatment while their children are properly cared for and fed.
New Sadle also directs a boarding school which welcomes students from all classes of society. Scholarships are provided to students afflicted with polio and leprosy as well as to those considered "untouchable". 40% of the 400 students receive scholarships.
