your own backyard and learn about how Global Greengrants Fund is furthering the international
environmental justice movement. If you don't have a place to plant a tree, Momentum will plant one in your name through the National Arbor Day Foundation. Honor the Earth with us on Saturday, April 18th. Global Greengrants Fund, is a Boulder-based non-profit that supports grassroots groups working for environmental justice and sustainability around the globe. Their far-reaching programs benefit communities in some of the poorest and most vulnerable areas of the world. Since 1993, Greengrants has made more than 5,000 grants, totaling over $20 million! Greengrants staff will be available to discuss the inspiring work of their grantee partners. Let the beauty of what we love be what we do. There are a hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground. – Rumi World Fair Trade Day & Mother’s Day Event:Saturday, May 2nd, 1-7pm  Come hear Peruvian artisans Ayde Riveros and Evangelina Pizaros’ compelling stories of their turbulent lives and how Fair Trade has helped them achieve economic and social stability. This local non-profit supports organizations that aid and empower women and children in extreme need around the world. Board members, Alice Norton and Carolyn Schuham, greeted shoppers with packets of basil and zinnia seeds and hosted a raffle to win a photograph by International Photographer Jake Norton. A big congratulations to Maureen Rimar, the lucky winner!    |
